Fertility Foods Workshop

Hello and happy September! I hope you all enjoyed the Summer as much as I did, spending lot's of time in nature, with loved ones, and of course enjoying beautiful fresh food!

With Fall just around the corner, many of us are slowly getting back on track with our health and wellness goals, and it is indeed a great time to be doing so. With the abundance of the Fall harvest at the farmer's markets, this is an inspiring time of year to get in the kitchen and create nourishing, comforting meals.

We all know that eating fresh, local vegetables is good for health and fertility, but did you know that FAT is just as important? This is one area of nutrition that can cause a lot of confusion! Dietary fats are crucial to hormone balance and fertility, but understanding which fats are helpful and which ones are harmful is very important. This is precisely why Dr. Stephanie Peltz and I have teamed up once again to host this informative workshop all about FAT and FERTILITY! We'll guide you through the latest research and offer practical tools for including beneficial fats at every meal. Each participant will receive a gift bag full of fertility-friendly goodies including a jar of my favourite cooking oil (a blend of coconut oil and ghee) from St. Francis Herb Farm, hemp seeds from Manitoba Harvest, pre-natal DHA (fish oil) from Nordic Naturals, and more! Plus, some amazing prizes will be up for grabs from our local sponsors The Good Chocolatier, Nut Hut Organics, and Bloom Fertility Body Care.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 7:30pm-8:30pm

Where: Polo Health & Longevity Centre 711 Columbia St., New Westminster, BC

Tickets: Eventbrite
